The Mind · The Body · The Game
The FBA Player Program develops game IQ, confidence, self-discipline, and mental toughness in athletes ages 8–16 — plus real-time advice when they need it, not at the next practice.

The gap in youth basketball
Training has never been more popular. Development has never been more shallow.
Complete Basketball closes that gap — training the mind, the body, and the game together.
Mental toughness built on the "Next Play" rule and a failure-does-not-exist framework — plus real 1-on-1 mentorship, not a pep talk.
Age-appropriate athletic development and at-home training your athlete can actually stick to, guided by a decade of strength-training experience.
Game IQ, role understanding, and film breakdowns of your athlete's real games — the coaching most players never get before high school.
Your athlete's coach
For the last three years I've served as Director of Basketball Operations at Alexander Basketball Academy, working with hundreds of young athletes across Frederick and Mount Airy.
I currently hold several shooting records at Thomas Johnson High School in Frederick, and I played collegiate ball at York College of Pennsylvania.
Since then I've spent 10+ years studying sports and youth psychology, a decade mentoring young players, alongside a lifetime in skills training, athletic performance, Olympic Lifting, and individual mentorship.
I'm also a dad of three boys. I built this program because I was tired of watching youth sports run on politics and volume instead of genuine development — and because the mental side of the game changed my life, and I know what it does for a kid when someone finally coaches it.
Inside the Founding Season
30–60 minutes each month across 2–3 personal calls and meetings. Your athlete gets a coach in their corner — someone who knows their game, their goals, and their season.
A full assessment of where your athlete is now, then one long-term goal broken into monthly micro-goals — so every week of work points somewhere.
Preparation built around your athlete's actual team, role, skill set, and what their coach expects from them — not a generic curriculum.
I attend one of your athlete's games and break down the film with them — what worked, what didn't, and exactly what to work on next.
The complete Core4 shooting book is included, and we go through it together. It's the shooting method most players never learn.
Bad game? Confidence dip? Your athlete doesn't wait until next month. They reach out, and we handle it while it's fresh.
At-home workouts, a shooting tracker, and routine checklists — structure your athlete can run on their own, at no extra time cost to your family.
From FAA families
If your athlete doesn't show documented progress in their first 90 days, you get an additional 30-day development plan — free. Their growth is tracked from day one, so you'll never wonder whether this is working.

This is not for everyone
Complete Basketball is mentorship-first, which means it doesn't scale like a camp. The roster stays small, and every spot goes to a player who's committed — an athlete who wants to get better, not one being dragged to another activity.
The application exists to protect that. No payment is collected when you apply. If it's a fit, we'll talk. If it's not, I'll tell you honestly.
Questions
Players ages 8–16. The program adapts to age and level — an 8-year-old's plan looks nothing like a varsity hopeful's.
No — it works alongside them. Complete Basketball covers what teams and skills trainers don't: mentorship, goals, mindset, film, and a plan that ties it all together.
Very little. Mentorship is 30–60 minutes per month, and the Player Toolkit is built to fit into the training your athlete is already doing.
Either works. Paying in full is $670 for the entire 6-month season — $224 less than paying monthly, and the lowest price this program will ever be offered at. That rate is only available to the first 10 founding members.
I review every application personally, and if it looks like a fit, we set up a short call. No payment is collected until you've decided to join.
Progress is documented from day one. If there's no measurable progress in the first 90 days, you get an extra 30-day development plan free — that's the Progress Promise.
